NEW DELHI: The bond between MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli is no secret and no matter even if the Indian cricket’s biggest superstars were against each other in the IPL 2023 match, their mutual respect never diminished.
Kohli always keeps Dhoni in a very high regard and he often spoke about how the CSK skipper reached out to him when he was going through a lean phase of his career.
The former RCB skipper Kohli took to Twitter on Tuesday to share the picture of him hugging Dhoni. Kohli described his emotion in a tweet by using a red heart emoticon and a yellow heart emoticon which is equal to India. For the unversed, red colour belongs to RCB while yellow is CSK’s colour.

The IPL Twitter handle also shared a video after RCB-CSK match on Monday in which Kohli was seen bursting into laughter with Dhoni.

Coming to the match, CSK emerged victorious in a nail-biter to eke out a narrow 8-run victory over RCB in a high scoring thriller.
Devon Conway slammed 83 off 45 deliveries while Shivam Dube blazed away to a 27-ball 52 as CSK posted an imposing 226 for six after being asked to bat first. In reply, RCB ended at 218 for eight.
RCB skipper Faf du Plessis (62 off 33 balls) and Glenn Maxwell (76 off 36) gave a scare to CSK till they were at the crease, sharing 126 runs for the third wicket to raise hopes of a famous win.
